REQUIREMENTS
To participate in the pageant, you must be a Transgender woman or a Cisgender woman. It is essential to meet certain requirements. Prior to applying, we kindly request that all potential contestants carefully read the handbook, which provides detailed information regarding the pageant's rules and expectations. This will ensure that you are well-informed about the standards set forth for all participants and titleholders. It is expected that both contestants and titleholders adhere to these pageant standards throughout their involvement in the competition. Familiarizing yourself with the handbook will enable you to make an informed decision and actively contribute to a successful and fulfilling pageant experience.
TIPS
We are only accepting 16 contestants. You should be prepared with the America system or have had experience in previous pageants. You will be responsible for growing the system throughout your reign for the following year.
You will have 12 hours to complete your applications. Starting at 12 noon on March 16, 2024 until Midnight you can submit your application. The Miss Gay America board will review and choose as a group the 16 contestants to compete at the inaugural Miss Gay America Femme pageant. Contestants will be notified by Wednesday March 20, 2024.
Before completing your contestant application , it is important to have certain elements prepared. Firstly, ensure you have the application fee of $150 ready for submission this will be accepted via PayPal or credit card. Additionally, prepare a compelling two to three paragraph biography that highlights your unique qualities and explains why you aspire to hold the title. Finally, remember to include a photograph that showcases your face prominently, measuring 3" w x 5" h (1800px by 2100px). Opt for a professional headshot or a photo from a photoshoot that truly represents your genuine self. Please avoid using crown photos from other pageants.
